I am a small Dachshund breeder in Washington State who shows and raises quality,
purebred, AKC registered Longhair Miniature Dachshunds. I do not often have
puppies available, as I breed to keep back my next best show prospect. My puppies
come with great socialization, quality conformation, wonderful temperament and
written guaranteed genetic health. My family owns a Montessori School, so our
puppies come with plenty of supervised socialization with young children.
We are becoming more involved in Earthdog Competitions, Field Trials and
Conformation Showing. We have met some wonderful mentors, friends and breeders
at shows. We would love for you to come participate in events as well. If ever we
have available dachshund puppies for sale, you will find further information on the
Dachshund Puppies page. Read all about Sandstone Miniature Longhair Dachshunds
here. Or check out our Future Dachshund Litters Page to see what we have planned
in the future.
If you are considering buying your first dachshund, I would be more than happy to
help you along the way, in any way I can.
Miniature Dachshunds vary greatly with coat textures, colors, patterns and
temperament. There is a lot to consider when choosing a breed, as well as the sex
and age of your newest family member. Every family has different wants and needs,
so there is surely a dog that is best suited for you. There is always the generations
of research in pedigrees and health good breeders do, to take into consideration
when shopping for a pup, whether for pet or show. If I can make that process easier
for you, I would be pleased.
The closer to the "Dachshund Standard" you can get when purchasing a pet puppy,
the healthier the dog will be in his/her everyday activities. I have plenty of resources
that are full of information so please ask. If I do not know the answer, I can surely
refer you to people who have been breeding Dachshunds for 20, 30, 40 years.
I know many reputable miniature dachshund breeders in the Pacific Northwest as
well as the United States whom I would be happy to refer you to, if I do not have a
dog that you are looking for.
I grew up with dachshunds and can never imagine my life without them!
I am always available by phone or email so don't hesitate to call anytime! Thank you
and take care.

It is extremely important to fix
your dog if you are not showing
or breeding to show.
Breeding/raising a litter of
puppies costs a lot of money.
Breeding, without years of
planning, can result in more
pets in pounds.
|I BELIEVE IN SEVERAL
GENETIC HEALTH TESTS FOR
MY DOGS THAT ARE BRED
I think it is important to verify
certain health tests of the
parents. This can sometimes
lessen the chance of genetic
defects and health issues in a
puppy you purchase. Also, do
your research in the genetic
issues with past puppies from the
Dam and Sire. If a breeder is a
good one, they will be upfront
